This is an absolutely flawless dining experience. Staff is top notch, and the food is perfectly prepared with great balance. The menu isn't very big, which translates to fresh ingredients. If you didn't know better, it feels like you are in the heart of NYC with this level of food and service.

Excellent angiolotti and steak. Healthy portions and great service with table side service for Cease salads and dessert. I heard of Piccolo's because my family held business meetings in the 90s for the growing alpaca industry.Definitely a must go to place!

Great food and friendly service

Pretentious and condescending server ruined our dinner: ignored us at the door, had a nasty attitude towards us throughout, and when I asked for parmesan for my ravioli said, "We don't offer parmesan with this dish. The chef does not recommend it." This place shares a parking lot with the Knights Inn, but acts like it's a got a Michelin star. I will NEVER return and will make sure no one I know ever spends a dime there.

Kind of an awkward, uncomfortable experience. Food wasn't very good and service was strange.

Better than most Italian restaurants I've been to in Brooklyn. The restaurant is staffed by a charming Italian family, who had their lengthy specials menu totally memorized, which is encouraging for a guy who asks for recommendations. They made a point to say they would switch any meat or veggie with any pasta or sauce, and are very accomodating for people who may be picky eaters. Best meal of our trip upstate, would go back again if we return.

Excellent food and service. Reasonable portions. Going to become a favorite stopover and a reason to take route 17 on our trips to visit family upstate.

Phenomenal food and drinks. Modern atmosphere. Was overall very pleased. The woman behind the bar was very polite and professional. Highly recommend!!

This is a example of a diamond in a land of coal. The attention to detail was what temped. My party and myself to give them a try. The wait staff did a wonderful job explaining the specials and the chefs prepared food as we specified. If a steak is to be medium then that is what you receive. My only distaste was the bartenders liquor ratio was off hurting the taste of the drinks, also please get mint. A mojito is a standard

Excellent food. Service not so good. Had to wait half an hour to get bread for the table. They forgot one entre and he waited about 20 minutes to get. Will not be going back.

My wife & I dine out often & are rather critical of the cuisine. we may have had dinner here 5 times & each time it was superb. I give Piccolo Paese 5 stars because we've given them at least 5 chances to disappoint us & they have yet to. try the raviolis. I found them delectable. one might describe the food as "authentic". we live 3 hours from here & once came up just for dinner.

Great restaurant to be at

Delicious food. Not knowing any better, being from far away, we had no reservations. They were full up but helped accommodate us by making a bar table available for us. The food was delicious. The warriors... who was also the bat tendress... was great making some great suggestions since of which needed brutal honesty. It was appreciated. Especially when it came time for dessert. Go with the tiramisu. 😉. We'll only be here two more days but all the members in the party agreed that it might be a place for another dinner. About the only negative was we were hoping for leftovers, but portions didn't allow.

Great food, atmosphere, and service.

So lovely. Though it's really off the beaten path in a not so great location, don't let that stop you from visiting this gem. You'll feel like you've gone through a time machine. However the food is just excellent!! They always have great specials (Brandzino). Love it here!!

So worth it! May be a little expensive for liberty. But the food is always outstanding. The servers are knowledgable and friendly. The drinks may be pricey but are also worth the money.

My sister has worked at Piccolo for almost 4 months now and she brings food home from work for me and it is always absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend eating there the service is always the best service possible and the staff makes you feel right at home. The owner Baco is one of the nicest most genuine, kind hearted, hard working men, and always makes sure all customers are satisfied to the fullest.

What can I say... or should I say where do I start! First let’s say make sure you dress warm lol. 2nd be prepared to wait long time for your food and believe me it’s not cause it’s fresh. The place didn’t have that many people in there to wait over hr for a veal parm. The spaghetti was hard under cooked. The sauce tastes like it had a touch of Lysol. We have been eating there for over 10 years. Hands down new owners fixed the place but degraded the food. Now this is my opinion. Try it out for your self. I gave 2 stars for the fixing up of the place.

Loved this restaurant. It was our go-to for special occasions. Very pricey $$$$ but fantastic service and food. January 2019 they closed for refurbish effort. Noticed Foster Supply Co manages the wepage now. Hope Chef Bacca returns in the spring when they are scheduled to reopen.

An incredible dining experience. The service was impeccable. Waiter filled glasses without prompting. The pork dish my husband had was flavorful and tender. My fussili was a bit overpowered with spinach. It was still yummy, but if I ordered it again, I would ask for more garlic and less spinach. We will come again for sure! We didn't order one, but the caesar salad made at the next table.was artful! (sure wish the table bad stopped to enjoy the experience like we did) thank You Jullian! Top-notch server.

Stellar - all the way around!I never cease to be amazed at the quality of food, and the delightful presentation. It's pricey but it's worth it. it is consistently fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and Mama Mia this chef knows his stuff! better than most restaurants in Manhattan! Not to mention Brooklyn.

Five stars all day long!We stopped here 3 years ago just looking for a place to eat not far from the highway. What a find. Dining the way it is meant to be. The food is to die for and the service is impeccable. We go to the NY Auto Show every year and happened to drive past this place. It's in Liberty NY not near anything but it's well worth a drive from anywhere. We live in Buffalo and will make the drive just to go here. It's traditional Italian and delicious. My son and I make plans every year to go here on the way back from NYC. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible. The decor is a bit dated, but you won't care after the first bite you take. If there is any place you must go, this is it.

Absolutely delicious Italian food. Everything on the menu is superb, and the drinks made at the bar are great as well. Good wine selection, and great service. They always have numerous specials not found on the menu which expands the selection. Highly recommend.
